The British Osteopathic Association (BOA) represents the vast majority of UK registered osteopaths. The BOA aims to promote, encourage and maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training within the profession. The General Osteopathic Council

The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) is a UK-wide statutory body with regulatory powers, established by the Osteopaths Act 1993. The GOsC's primary function is to protect the patient by operating statutory regulation for osteopaths and setting the standards for osteopathic education, practice and conduct. Osteopathy was the first complementary healthcare profession to be accorded statutory regulation by the government. You can search for GOsC registered practitioners by name, address or postcode.

National Back Pain Association (BackCare)

BackCare is the only independent national charity for people with back pain. They provide information and support through their website, telephone helpline, membership, publications and self-help groups. Search facility for BackCare professional members working in your area.

OSCA

OSCA is a membership group for osteopaths involved or interested in the treatment of people participating in sport. It was founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting the education and awareness of sports care both to and from osteopaths.
