British Osteopathic Association

The British Osteopathic Association (BOA) represents the vast majority of UK registered osteopaths. The BOA aims to promote, encourage and maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training within the profession. General Osteopathic Council

The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) is a UK-wide statutory body with regulatory powers, established by the Osteopaths Act 1993. The GOsC's primary function is to protect the patient by operating statutory regulation for osteopaths and setting the standards for osteopathic education, practice and conduct. Osteopathy was the first complementary healthcare profession to be accorded statutory regulation by the government. You can search for GOsC registered practitioners by name, address or postcode.
